Where the River Remembers Us transforms the Limmat into a living archive of migration, memory, and longing. Through analogue negative portraits of people sitting by the river and spoken recollections in their mother tongues, the work listens to those who live along its banks today. The river becomes a resonant body, carrying voices, reflecting identities, and holding personal stories of displacement, belonging, and remembrance.
